ExecED | MBA Boot Camp 2013

MBA Boot Camp 2013

Prepare for your first semester as a McCombs MBA student

As a new MBA student, there are many things to do to prepare yourself for the upcoming experience. You may have heard from friends, alumni and others that the first semester of a top MBA program is a difficult one. And it is.

To help familiarize yourself with concepts you will be studying in-depth this fall, Texas Executive Education is offering an MBA Boot Camp. This four-day program is designed to help ease the transition for incoming students who have limited quantitative or business backgrounds. The program focuses on building foundational skills for the first semester core curriculum including accounting, finance and Excel.

In addition to getting a leg-up on first semester curriculum, all Boot Camp participants will be able to meet fellow classmates and faculty during a networking event and catered lunches.

Who should attend:
• Anyone with a limited math background.
• Anyone who hasn't flexed their quantitative skills in a while.
• Anyone with limited experience in accounting and/or finance.
• Anyone who wants to get a jump-start on school and ease the transition into the fast-paced first semester.

Tuesday, July 30 – Friday, August 2, 2013

Four-day program includes MBA Boot Camp networking event, catered lunches on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and an optional Accounting Lab.
